By installing or using Yang's Upwork Toolkit (the "extension"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install the extension.
1. What we provide
Yang's Upwork Toolkit is a Chrome browser extension that helps you review Upwork job postings, score fit against your profile, draft proposal text, and draft replies in message threads you have open. The extension runs on pages you manually open in your browser. It can show local review badges on visible job cards and, when you explicitly click the profile rewrite or reply flow, fill a profile field or Upwork's message composer for your review. It does not auto-submit proposals, send messages, click Upwork's final Save, Submit, or Send buttons, search in the background, scrape data in bulk, or run unattended account actions.
2. Your responsibilities
- You must comply with Upwork's own Terms of Service and User Agreement.
- You must not use the extension to send spam, harass, or deceive other Upwork users.
- You must not use the extension to bid on jobs you cannot deliver.
- Proposals and messages you send are your work product. You are responsible for what you say to clients, even when our drafts inform what you write.
3. AI assistance is decision support, not advice
The AI-assisted review, profile rewrite, proposal angle, and reply suggestions (Free trial quota or Pro quota) are decision support tools. They are not:
- Legal advice
- Career advice
- Financial advice
- A guarantee that you will win bids
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI output. You alone decide whether to apply to a job and what to write in your proposal or reply.
4. Subscriptions and billing
The Free plan is free. The Pro plan is a recurring monthly subscription billed by Creem, our merchant of record.
- You will be charged the listed price plus any applicable taxes Creem collects on our behalf.
- The subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from the Creem customer portal linked inside the extension.
- Canceling stops future renewals. The current billing period is non-refundable.
- You can restore an active subscription on another browser profile with the payment email and one-time code flow inside the extension.
- Billing errors and any refunds follow our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer the extension to bypass quota, billing, or signature checks.
- Use the extension to circumvent any Upwork rate limit, anti-automation control, or terms.
- Use the extension to operate as a "bid mill" for proposals you do not deliver yourself.
- Resell, sublicense, or relabel the extension as your own product.
We may suspend or terminate your subscription if we reasonably believe you have violated this section.
6. Intellectual property
The extension, the website, the name "Yang's Upwork Toolkit", and the "Yangworks" brand are owned by Yangworks Studio. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the extension on browsers you control, for as long as your plan is active. We may limit the number of active browser installs linked to one paid subscription to reduce abuse.
Drafts, proposal text, and replies you generate using the extension belong to you.
7. Disclaimers
The extension is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yangworks Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost Connects, or lost opportunities, arising from your use of the extension.
Our total liability for any claim related to the extension is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate your access if you violate these terms. On termination, the license in section 6 ends.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date and, where reasonable, announced in the extension UI at least 30 days before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict of law principles.
